Ok. My turtle went threw the same thing idk if i did the procedures right but my turtle did heal. First I let my turtle dry out by keeping it out of the water for a good 15-25 minutes. Next i put the turtle on a cloth and took a needle. I then gently stuck the needle a little bit into it resulting in this liquid type stuff (lookes like that type of stuff human cuts if its really bad pus or whatever) coming out of the bumb. Gently squezze it until you think it is all out. Next put the antibiotics on top of where your stuck the needle in. Clean the tank fully with disinfectant and and any other stuff you usually clean your tank with. But before you clean your tank put the turtle in a sink or bowl with water to let it soak and get moist again. After your done with the tank. Put the turtle back in the water in the tank. Put the anitbiotics on every morning and every night for a week or 5 days. And in a matter of time it will be all better. Its not professional but my great grandfather taught me this and it works. Drying the turtle will reduce the pain.But it is really better to take it to the vet because of the risk of killing your turtle and head trauma. Since they are in medical business i think they can get discounts only costing them around $40-100

What is going on with my slider turtle?

I have a Rio Grande slider turlte who I have had sine February 26. It was about an inch long when I got it, and is now about three inches. It appears to be shedding yet again, but now is continuously basking and won't eat much. It is usually rwvenous and begging for food when I approach the tank with worms, but it seems disinterested. I read that their shells stay pretty soft for up to a year, but the back edges of its shell seem kind of toothy and the carpace is a little irregularly textured. Could it just be shedding, or is it likely that it is sick? I have a yellow-bellied slider in the same tank who is doing totally fine. They both get aquatic plants, juvenile pellets with a good calcium to phosphorus ratio, and meal worms.

Does anyone know where i can find a slider hack for the sims 3 generations? I have the sliders by Johna from modsthesims and they worked just fine before but now that i updated the game they wont show up in CAS, and before anyone recomends something like master controller or awesome mod, i tried those and no matter what i do i can't get them to work. i extract them to desk top and then put them under packages using the mods folder provided to us in the EA folder in the my documents section and clear the caches still no dice, if i'm having a script error here can someone tell me before i pull out my hair? I drank an energy drink and went crazy?

I'm so curious.When I was 13 I bought an energy drink called "Burn".It was my first energy drink ever. Vacuum iron out of the bottom of above ground pool?

I have a above ground pool that is 15' x 4ft deep, its a circle pool! Ive got well water and i used a water hose to fill up the pool. I have a water softner on the well water but its for directly to the house. So anyways i filled up the pool with well water, & of course it turned brown. So i called our local pool company and the gentle man said for me to buy a pool vacuum that attached to the pump/filter & to shock it so all the iron will sink to the bottom (leave the pump off over night so it will sink) So i done that. Then he said once it sinked to vacuum and the filter would capture it. So i vacuumed it up and the bigger maority of the iron got trapped inthe filter, but the smaller particials came back into the pool. So i shocked it again & vacuumed, still the same thing, some of it would come back into the pool. So after that didnt work for the first 3 times, we put a sock over the return (puts water back into the pool) & that captured some of the iron but not all of it. we left the sock on there for a week while the filter was running, & it settles to the bottom again.Any suggestions would be greatly appericated?

I don't know how fast red ear sliders grow, but i do know that you can melt a standard household lamp with almost any type of basking light. Reptile lamps are specifically designed to handle the high heat that basking bulbs put out, so they're a worthwhile investment to prevent fire, melting, and damage to both your stuff and your turtle. If you have to use a household lamp, make sure its metal and NEVER touch it while the light is one. Most lights should cool for at least half an hour before being handled, both because the heat could burn you and the lights are ridiculously fragile, especially when they're hot.

there is an ad on the right of the screen. it takes up about 2 1/2 to 3 inches. i can't see the entire e-mail without slidding the bar at the bottom so I can see the right side of the e-mail.also i can't see a whole picture that has been sent I have the use the slider on the right going up & down. Hey, a strategy I normally do with my deck is use summoner monk and bring out flamvell. This then lets me synchro for eight. I'll also frequently have out a two star monster.... So, any good even star synchros? I run spellcounter, and only 4 synchros (one of them being arcanite magician so he's out). So the only ones i've been bringing out so far are stardust dragon, tempest magician, or thought ruler archfiend. So anyone know good 6, 8, and 10 star synchros I should add? Try to keep them inexpensive, but yeah, if you have like 20 dollar ones on the list i won't mind. Just as long as they're summonable with my cards (spellcaster and non spellcaster tuners, no Odin or such) and useful in a general situation (so no ancient fairy dragon where it's only if my opponent uses field spells),

So my friends are coming over in two weeks for my party and I want to make it the best party ever! My boyfriend and I have been dating for four months now. When we first started dating he used to invite me to hang out with his friends all the time, I would usually say yes if I wasn't busy. It'd be about once a week or once every other week. Most of his friends have been acquaintances of mine for a long time so it's not like I don't know them at all. May was a very busy month for me so I rarely saw him, let alone his friends. Since then, he doesn't invite me to hang out with them at all. I get invited to the big stuff, like weddings and parties but never to hang out at the bar or anything like that. He actually seems to make it a point to not spend time with me on weds because that's the usual day they go out because of free pool. I think it would bother me less if he was just hanging out with his guy friends but it's girls too. Not only that but his friends invite other people, I know because one of my friends was invited and it wasn't even mentioned to me in passing. On the one hand, I know it's good for him to spend time with his friends without me but I also feel like I'll always be the "girlfriend" in his social circle and never a legitimate part of the group if this continues.

I don't know about the indra stories but as far as norse mythology I only remember the frost giants wanting to freeze the entire world for their own use. not the land of the gods but our world. They appear to hate all life that isn't them. My theory is that they allowed themselves to overpopulate and were seeking to expand. It's sad to think but reproduction can sometimes be an evil thing. I bought some night crawlers (fish bait make sure you buy them because if you find them in your yard, they could have harmful pesticides) they were like 2 bucks and after they were chopped into smaller pieces the turtle ate it:) I also fed it some crickets and it enjoyed them too.. Red rings on palm are probably eczema, but could they be anything else (besides ringworm)?

note: I don't have access to a dermatologist. For the past several years I've gotten recurring red rings on the skin of my left palm, and only my left palm. They start as small raised red rings and slowly grow larger, the ring "breaking" apart and becoming lopsided or incomplete, and then fading. They're not dry, but they're slightly itchy and tend to be sensitive to heat or pressure. I don't think it's ringworm because it's never appeared on any other part of my body and I've had it no matter where I lived/what daily routine I had. I don't go to gyms or share exercise equipment. I assume it's just eczema, and might be related to a food allergy (I had severe food allergies and eczema as a little kid), but it seems strange that it only shows up on the palm of my left hand. I was wondering if anyone had similar eczema symptoms. When I look up photos of eczema, my spots don't look anywhere near as severe. Also, eczema seems to usually be solid circles, not rings. So I'm kind of puzzled.

i am modeling in 3ds max and all of a sudden when i click the select or rotate or scale tool i do not see the guides that usually come up on screen. I am talking about those blue, green, and red arrows for select that help me move an object on the xyz axis, the green blue red circles that allow me to rotate on the xyz axis and the green blue red lines that allow me to scale on the xyz axis. All i can do is move the object around the 4 different screens guessing the position. So he is saying that for the first 160 hours I work free because training is not paid. And then its also a temp job. I thought after 160 free hours, he will just say "its temp job so its over now" and take a lot of work. I refused the offer.

Ok, so I've checked on the web a little for some sites that will allow you to customize your own keychain, but here's what IM looking for; most websites allow you to imprint ONLY A DESIGN on like a circle or square keychain body, but I was wondering if there was a site out there where you could go all out and like, for example, instead of having a tree DESIGN on a keychain, the keychain would actually LOOK like a tree and the keychain body would be cut out in the shape of a tree. I hope that's not too confusing for you guys! Turtle laid an egg? Or not?

Okay so we have a Red Eared Slider whom we thought was a boy. However, we noticed something weird in "his" tank tonight which looked like an egg. It was white and oval but very thin, almost just like a membrane? Also, this is an inherited turtle from my step brother...this turtle has never laid an egg before so thought it was male. Anyways...can female turtles lay eggs without the presence of a male? Also why would it be the first time she laid an egg? If not an egg, what could it be?

Can I turn a wired usb device into a wireless one?

I had the idea of buying a 720-S slider monitor from ThinkGeek.com. I wanted it so I could be on one side of the room, and still use my desktop that is on the other side of the room wirelessly. The 720-S slider has no internal power source, it gets all of its power from the usb. That is not a problem, I could easily hook up a laptop battery to it for power. The only problem is I don't want wires crossing the room. This is where my question comes in. Is there some peice of hardware, part, or device that will allow me to send the signal wirelessly across the room. The signal would go computer>one end of the usb cord>unknown device>wireless movement>other part of the unknown device>other end of the usb cord>my monitor. IStrings won't work for iPhone 3G 4.2.1?

My iPhone 3G is Jailbroken, and I heard some 4.2.1's iStrings app won't work. I have winterboard and I tried it with it on and off, I clicked apply, and it still wouldn't show any results. I found out that many singaporeans are eating turtles as their dinner and lunch dishes.. most popular eaten turtles are eared eared sliders, soft shelled turtles, and even snake head turtles.. i went to many markets in singapore, and was shocked to find that turtles that are sold for restaurant tables are mostly found in the town side of singapore, like chinatown.. when i got to a market near chinatown, i saw many juvenile or roughly big red eared sliders kept in cages..each cage containing at least 10 to 20 live red eared sliders. the space was seriously cramped. the soft shelled turtles are all stuffed into ann empty pail, all waiting to be sold or killed on the spot. what shocked me most was when i saw the man selling them just use a knife and a sharp metal equipment cutting open the shell of a red eared slider, and digging and slicing the flesh out of a live red eared slider, while it just screeched and groaned in pain... this was consequently done the same to other turtles, frogs and fishes that were sold there.. i just cannot bear to see these people doing things like this just to satisfy their eating needs.. there are so many things they could eat, but why must they purposely breed turtles and other creatures just to kill and eat them? the reason they give is that the population of these creatures are overly populated, so they have to reduce the number of these creatures.. but seriously, they are the ones that breed them out of greed! please give me your views, thanks.

My Red Eared Slider is Swimming Lopsided?

I know it is one of the symptoms of RI, but he still eats normally, is active, and basks regularly. My RES doesnt wheeze or gasp--its just the lopsided swimming. It's not very pronounced, but he tilts just a little to the left...should I take him to the vet? I'm not sure how old he is. I've had him for about a year, and he is 2 and a half inches CL. I have him in a 10 gallon with a heat lamp and dry basking spot, and he goes out for an hour each day for natural sun and UVB. I don't have a heater, but the temp stays at a constant 25 Celsius. (Oh, and I don't know for sure if my RES is a boy, since he isn't old enough, but I'm pretty sure "he" is. And if i don't need to take him to the vet, what should I do for him?

Do you have experience with baby red eared sliders in outdoor ponds?

We have 2 baby RES's. About an inch or so long. We have had them for 3 days, and put them in our 500 gal. outdoor pond. They really haven't eaten that much at all. We take them out twice a day to feed them in a rubbermaid container. The only reason we take them out is 1. to see if they are actually eating, and 2. if we just place the food in the water, my goldfish eat it. We offered them commercial turtle food, as well as bits of squash and carrots, and a half dead minnow. We have only seen them take a nip from the commercial food. They weren't even interested in the fish. I'm wondering if we should even continue to take them out or just put the food in the water and hope they are getting something. The reason I wonder this is because I'm wondering if it's stressful for them for us to catch them and remove them from the pond. One of them stays in the water all the time. The other one climbs out on a big rock we have provided for them. I am worried that at least the one is not getting the basking time it needs, and if we should put them in the container with a basking light. Wondering if that might help the eating. I don't know. So obviously, any and all suggestions are more than welcome as we learn how to take care of these little ones.

Why do I get dark circles from eye creams?

I have very sensitive skin, and for years and years I have used Dove Sensitive Skin cream around my eyes (the orbit of them, where they are darker) because it has been the one and only product that actually gets rid of dark circles for me. Thing is, everything else, and I mean everything, actually GIVES me dark circles. yes, gives me them. In the past a girl at the makeup counter was shocked when I came back with the product because it looked like I hadn't slept in a week, and I never had the dark circles before. They only really come out when I use eye creams or anything around them, EXCEPT Dove. Bascially, it's almost as if when the eye area gets moisturized I immediately have dark circles that show more. I don't know what to do as Dove has discontinued their skin (face) care products. I have tried everything and it gives me dark circles. The only way I didn't have them was when I used that cream. Does anyone know what the problem could be, why this is happening, and a good eye cream for sensitive skin and dark circles would be? Please and thank you..

Jailbroken iPod Touch Theme Doesn't Show Theme Lockscreen?

Alright, so I have a new iPod Touch 4G running on 4.3.3 firmware. For every theme I have downloaded from Cydia, (I.E Mac Collision) everything works but the theme's lockscreen wallpaper and slider/unlock method; it just shows the background I had before jailbreaking and the normal slide to unlock. The only things I have checked in Winterboard are the ones for the theme, as well as no Undocked or Docked icon labels. On my 3G iPod I had before it was stolen, the lockscreens worked just fine, and there were no new updates for the themes. Can someone please tell me step by step how to fix this problem, whether it be an SSH thing or something else. Much thanks

Can I turn a wired usb device into a wireless one?

I had the idea of buying a 720-S slider monitor from ThinkGeek.com. I wanted it so I could be on one side of the room, and still use my desktop that is on the other side of the room wirelessly. The 720-S slider has no internal power source, it gets all of its power from the usb. That is not a problem, I could easily hook up a laptop battery to it for power. The only problem is I don't want wires crossing the room. This is where my question comes in. Is there some peice of hardware, part, or device that will allow me to send the signal wirelessly across the room.
