Digimon world ds won't teleport?

ok, i just downloaded digimon world ds and i'm at the part where you need to teleport to the forest to scan a digimon so i can get a digi-farm. i step on the blue/green circle like the digimon says and nothing happens. i watched on youtube the he says i need an address or something, but that never happens with me. i just stand there and nothing happens. i restarted 3 times and get the same result. can someone please help or give me a link to a download the doesn't do that? iv already used coolrom and romfreakes.
