Why do Viking-originated Black Metalers sing about the Christian God and Satan?

I guess it's hard to say. Perhaps they partially believe in a number of religious creeds. Black Metal is very expressive and they could sing about Christian concepts for any number of reasons. The exact reason probably depends on the particular band. I'm sure they each have their own reasons.
