Can anyone provid proof that the following exist or provide proof they don't exist?

The fact that there are words made for them or symbols for them, displays the fact that there is something that is trying to be being communicated by someone. If you consider that the word is a symbol for something how can you deny it's existence? If it was not then nobody would be trying to communicate it's existence.
