Can I turn a wired usb device into a wireless one?
I had the idea of buying a 720-S slider monitor from ThinkGeek.com. I wanted it so I could be on one side of the room, and still use my desktop that is on the other side of the room wirelessly. The 720-S slider has no internal power source, it gets all of its power from the usb. That is not a problem, I could easily hook up a laptop battery to it for power. The only problem is I don't want wires crossing the room. This is where my question comes in. Is there some peice of hardware, part, or device that will allow me to send the signal wirelessly across the room. The signal would go computer>one end of the usb cord>unknown device>wireless movement>other part of the unknown device>other end of the usb cord>my monitor. If you need more information on what I want to do, or my question makes no sense, please e-mail me at seewaldd@att.net. I appreciate any help that anyone can provide.
